This seminar with the slogan "Trust in the Media and Information in the Digital Era", counts on the collaboration of Casa Asia and will be held on the 13th and 14th of December at the main headquarters of EFE Agency in Madrid.

The event, which will last 2 days and is addressed to education, will bring together around 30 young journalists and professionals of Asian and European media, with the general purpose to approach the challenges and needs of their everyday life, offering tools to face the lack of information of the digital era.

All those young journalists and professionals of the media, between 18 and 35 years old that are citizens of a member country of Asia-Europa Meeting (ASEM) can broader their information and access the call here:

The call is open until next Monday 16th of September and among other requirements those interested in taking part in the seminar must prove they work as journalists in a mass media, traditional or digital, or as a freelance. Moreover, you must include an experience of project linked to lack of information, fake news or fact checking.

Candidates who are finally selected to be part of the seminar can also be accredited to cover the 14th Meeting of Foreign Affair Ministers of ASEM Forum, which will be held on the 15th and the 16th of December in Madrid. Likewise, another two official events parallel to the ministerial summit can be covered: ASEM Cultural Festival and the 9th "Model ASEM", held between the 12th and the 15th of December.
