The literary gatherings, organized by the Media Library of Casa Asia, form a dynamic group of readers who collaborate with their own opinions and knowledge, thus creating a space that transcends the book itself.
Led by translators, editors or teachers, the gatherings analyze the author's work: we open wide books that have had a special impact on literature and its socioeconomic and cultural environment. A literary journey that crosses China, India, Korea and Iran led by specialists who help us delve deeper into these magnificent books.
Periodically we propose cycles of these countries, first recommending a reading and on the same day of the gathering we comment on the story, the connection they have found between the story, the characters and their own lives.
Casa Asia has organized this cycle of guided literary discussions on fiction and non-fiction novels since 2013. The discussions have been held remotely to facilitate remote participation since 2020.
