Born in Madrid on November 12, 1977, he graduated in Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and entered the Diplomatic Career in 2004. Since August 2018, he was stationed at the Spanish Embassy in Bangkok (Thailand). Previously, he was responsible for the Department of Cooperation with the Arab World and Asia, at the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), thus collaborating in the design and execution of the Spanish development cooperation policy in northern Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
The new Director of Casa Asia He has been Deputy Consul at the Consulate General of Spain in Jerusalem, and was previously posted at the Permanent Representation of Spain to the United Nations based in Geneva, and at the Embassies in Hanoi (Vietnam) and Kabul (Afghanistan).
In Madrid he has worked in the Office of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Latin America, and in the General Subdirectorate of the Middle East.

The Governing Council of Casa Asia, the highest collegiate management body of the institution, made up of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Barcelona City Council and the Madrid City Council, welcomes the new Director General and appreciates the task carried out by his predecessor, David Navarro, who held this responsibility from July 2017 to July 2019.
