Lecture: "Chinggis Khan and Mongol Empire"

In 1206 Chinggis Khan began the construction of one of the greatest empires. No other state had even achieved to penetrate so many different villages and languages. Nothing in the Old World ever escaped its influence and the conditions that make the discover of the New World possible are thanks to its influence.

Thanks to this Chinggis, Ogodei and Qubilai Khan had an honourable place in history. The last assault of the nomad world coincided with the great development of written culture in China, Persia and the Latin West.
