Business Conference: Spain and Hong Kong, Cultural Partners in the New Silk Roads

Madrid and Barcelona
One Road, oOne Belt

The project known as “One Belt, One Road", which includes the new Silk Roads, is the most important initiative of China for the next years that aims to promote commercial relations between Asia, Europe and Africa that will affect more than 64 countries that represent 63% of the world population, 30% of global GDP and 35% of world trade.

This great project of China includes two main routes: The economic strip of the Silk Road and the Sea Silk Road of the 21st century. The first one would improve land connections and the second would focus on improving existing sea ones.

Spain and Hong Kong hold a geostrategic position in these roads that allow them to act as super connectors:

  • On the one hand, Hong Kong has the most sophisticated resources to act as a financial, logistic and commercial platform for all those international companies that would like to take part in this great initiative
  • On the other hand, Spain constitutes the most solid link between Europe and Africa as well as presenting solid credentials regarding infrastructure, telecommunication and logistics projects, among others, with great magnitude all around the world.

With the purpose to improve the connection between those interested in this great project led by China, the Government of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organise a great encounter in Hong Kong called Belt and Road Summit nest 18th of May.

From CEOE a business mission to take part in this encounter in Hong Kong will be led, which includes the participation at the event, meeting main Asian potential investors as well as a work agenda for one day. You can register in this link and include the promotional code BNRGRPBCCEOE38 to get great discounts.
