Roundtable: "TASCHEN Library of Art, Architecture and Design in Asia. Case study on the context of the global market trends"

Mesa redonda:

This event will present the books published by TASCHEN on art, architecture and design in and about Asia, as well as its ongoing projects in the region. TASCHEN's expansion in Asia provides a case study, which relates the publishing market with other markets and global trends that characterize the world economy.

The publishing house was founded in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen and is based in Cologne with branches in Madrid, Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In recent years, the publishing house has expanded its interests in the field of art, architecture, design, photography, cinema and cuisine, thanks to its increasing popularity. Its success has been therefore guaranteed by favouring the general public access to the luxury books they produce. The event will also include an ephemeral exhibition of books published by TASCHEN within the aformentioned fields with explicit reference to Asia.
