The capital of Thailand will host the celebration of the Spain-Thailand Tribune on June 8. This dialogue and cooperation forum, held for the first time in Bangkok, is organized by Casa Asia and the Devswongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) in collaboration with the ministries of Foreign Affairs and embassies of both countries.
The Spain-Thailand Tribune constitutes a platform for meeting and dialogue between both countries created with the purpose of organizing annual meetings that serve to contrast points of view on issues of global scope and, above all, to propose initiatives, energize relations and promote agreements in the fields of economics and business relations, culture and education, as well as in the field of political and institutional relations.

This first Tribune is structured around 3 debate tables, in addition to the opening and closing events. The first table will address the geopolitical changes in the Indo-Pacific, and the visions from Thailand and Spain. The second will focus on good practices in the tourism sector and opportunities for collaboration in this area. The third and final session will analyze the promotion of the Spanish language and culture in Thailand and the Thai language and culture in Spain
The Spanish delegation is headed by the general director of Casa Asia, Javier Parrondo, and on the Thai side by the director of the International Studies Center (ISC), Anuson Chinvanno. The general director for North America, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation will also attend, Javier Salido; the ambassador of Spain in Thailand, Felipe de la Morena, the general director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Imma Riera, the director of Madrid Tourism, Yolanda Perdomo or the academic director of the Cervantes Institute, Carmen Pastor, among other personalities.
